The name REDFIVE was taken form the movie "STAR WARS" in the final battle scene of the film luke's fighter ship is code named "RED FIVE" in the film as well as luke is remined to "trust his feeling" while on this mission.
This is the metaphor and why REDFIVE cure took the name.

REDFIVE San Francisco opened in San Francisco in June, 2000.

Before REDFIVE opened, no one in San Francisco was supporting the artist and lines that we work with. REDFIVE San Francisco is located on the corner of Haight/Ashbury.

For the first beginning they didn't treat their original brand but Erik & Josh who is the promoter of REDFIVE relate to many artists, besides taking advantage of their graphic sense cultivated before they started REDFIVE and then they started REDFIVE brand centering on graphics two years ago.

Moreover they made many collaboration art shows with famous artists and success for the first time in San Francisco.

People came form all over the world to see their corner. People like the grateful dead, JANIS JOPLIN and JIMI HENDRIX all tried to change the world while living in this neighborhood. REDFIVE figured this would be the best place to show the world a new revolution of thought and style, the next generation of artist and clothing designers.
